W.O.W.S. !!
W.O.W.S. = Wackos Occupy Wall Street
Hmmmmm! I know I had something to say about this, but somehow I just couldn't get past the headline. If you have anything to add, please feel free to comment.
Oh, and thanks for "Viewing".

There is a scripture in Ecclesiastes that says, "There is nothing new under the sun." These nimrods who are protesting think they are so unique. They are nothing but '60's hippies wannabes who probably think Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young are a record player you can get at Target, a place to make moonshine, an old ugly car and what they hope to stay forever!! :-)
I wonder where they bought that face pain? Or those pants? Or those jackets? Maybe from a COPORATION??
Dolts!
OPC Cook,
Bwahahahahaha! TOO FUNNY! Great take on Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. My wife and I saw Stephen Stills in concert solo (late 1970s), and I saw the Byrds in concert, but I don't remember exactly when... early 1970s for sure. I don't know if David Crosby was with them at that time or not... maybe. Anyway, Roger McGuinn had to be there. He was with them the whole time. Ahhh, those were the days...
Amy,
You got THAT right!
(:D) Best regards...
Amy summed it up well.
They're kids. They'll figure things out. The problem is the groups that are molding the demonstration (ANSWER, Code Pink, and other socialists).
I understand the unions and the president are behind and indorce these young uneducated socialists.
Yes, what about those expensive clothes? Of a matter of fact, I was in Neiman Marcus, yesterday. They look like clothes I saw on the racks~~~~.
Camo,
Yeah, sometimes somebody says something we were thinking ourselves, and there's just not much to add.
(:D) Best regards...
Beerme,
Well, I agree to a point. I mean we were kids once and we probably didn't get it back then... but then there's people like Obama and Bill Ayers and Maxine Waters and Chuck Schumer and Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. They were young once too, but they STILL don't get it.
[A mind is a terrible thing to waste!]
Nick,
Well, there's no accounting for taste. I prefer blue jeans myself. You know... the proper attire for the proletariat! Workers of the World (ie, taxpayers) UNITE.
(:D) Best regards...
I am struck by the irony that when the Teabaggers™ dress up in ridiculous garb it's just fun, but when the left do it they are 'wackos'. Either we are all wackos or none of us are – which is it to be?
Meanwhile, OPC Cook proves he has absolutely no idea what it was going on by making a sad joke concerning a rock band that very few of the protesters have ever heard of, thus proving just who is the '60s hippie.
Amy then goes on run the 'they are hypocrites 'cause they bought stuff from corporations!' routine and by doing so exposes the fact she has no clue of the protesters agenda while Beerme just patronizes everyone and claims they are being brainwashed, something that NEVER happens to the Right (Cue: Laffer Curve, Organized religion etc) and Nick The Survival, ahem, Guru deduces that they are 'uneducated' from looking at a picture. Hmmm.
Oh, but isn't this fun? The left enjoyed the TeaBaggers™ antics because oh, y'know, it was all so easy – the Koch Bros., Fox News, the compleet lak of speling abillity, the utter incomprehension of what the original Boston Tea Party was about in the first place, the signs – 'Get the Guvmint Outa My Medicare remains a classic – the inability to form a coherent opinion as what they where doing there – 'I'm here fer, um, the constitution] and, and, and the flag and the bill of rights and the constitution and 'cause Obama's a Muslin aand the constitution and...and 'cause it just ain't right etc etc' – and, yes, the costumes, but now that the TeaBagExpressParty™ hold their meetings in phoneboxes (Well, phonebox) they are all tore up that a REAL grassroots protest movement is showning them how it done.
Understand this, lawn-chair draggers – you will never understand. OWS has no leaders, it has no corporate sponsors, its aims are as specific as they are vague and it will not submit to the demands of its detractors. It is not, as the man prophesied, being televised but it is peaceful, it is intelligent, it is committed, it means business and it will not go away.
Revolutions are not won by the proletariat and never have been; they are won by the proletariat in conjunction with the middle classes, and once the the American proletariat wakes up to what has been happening and joins the middle class at the barricades, well, y'all will be on the wrong side of history. Again.
Glenn Beck – well, we all know he is 100% barking mad – but he said that such situations as OWS always lead to gas chambers, guillotines and Mao, forgetting such trivial pursuits as, say, the American Revolution of 1776, before calling for the Marines to be sent out to get 'em (Posse Comitus, anyone?) and invoking the very Saul Alinsky tactic that he disingenuously accuses the 'left' of employ with 'The only way [to control these people] will be top down, bottom up and inside out' and finally declaring that 'it will a night of long knives, it will be a purging of this country'. So Glenn Beck is advocating mass murder. Nice. Who are the fascists again?
In the words of Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America organizer Nicholas Klein in 1918, 'First they ignore you. Then they ridicule you. And then they attack you and want to burn you. And then they build monuments to you.'
The OWS has certainly been ignored – the MSM hasn't been near them for weeks. Now the ridicule has started thanks to drones such as, with respect, yourself, as have the attacks – see Beck and the Boston Police Department – but they will prevail. Be very afraid.
Cheers
Elroy
