Sign The Repeal Pledge

I know the first doctor in this commercial. She is a lifelong friend of my wife...

Go to The Repeal Pledge.

Great commercial. If the country club Republican RINOs wimp out on repealing ObamaCare or if Obama vetos the repeal, there will indeed be Hades to pay over this debacle.

Though Republican candidates may swing the U.S. House away from the Demoncrats, they better not become tax collectors for the left's welfare state or they'll get boot out the next time around. No more shredding the Constitution in order to institute liberal Democrats' velvet gulag.

Hank,
Yeah, I thought it was pretty good too. My wife got an e-mail from that first doctor (a friend of hers). She said all those doctors met in Washington, DC to film the commercial. I hope it accomplishes something.

(:D) Best regards...

I agree it is a great commercial and i strongly agree the entire ObamaCare nonsense should be repealed, but i was told by a number of credible sources that "signing" these is a total waste of time and deludes you into thinking they will be read or even paid any attention. i was told the only thing these guys pay ANY attention to is individual letters, and in fact, some of the people who sign these pledges via email get tracked and/or spammed. Know anything about that?

Sorry, this ad just can't be true. I was told during the run up to passage, all of the health care establishment was in favor of Obamacare! Surely these people only play doctors on TV...

First of all, I don't think that this is a "petition" per se. It is merely a "pledge" saying that you are in favor of repealing ObamaCare. There are two other pledge options for Congressional incumbents and challengers.

That being said, there is a difference between petitions sponsored by legitimate organizations and the variety that circulate by e-mail. The petitions that circulate by e-mail ("add your name and pass it on") definitely ARE a waste of time. Those sponsored by a legitimate organization require a name and address. They are often printed out and hand-delivered to Congress. I have signed a number of such petitions and they were effective. When an organization delivers 300,000 petitions to Congress, they get attention.

These organizations ask for your e-mail address in order to send you follow-up information on their programs and progress. You can always unsubscribe at any time if you find you are getting too much e-mail, or e-mail that you don't like.

Beerme,
Sorry. That should read: "As a wise person once said: Don't believe anything you HEAR, and only half of what you see." My bad.
