Considering the fact that most of the world's DNS servers are in the United States, I'd say our government has already been running the world wide web since day one.
Steve, There's a difference between "running" the Internet and "controlling" the content on the Internet. I hope you figure out what that difference is before they pull the plug on your blog... and mine.
By the way the internet is continually changing and consists of so much more than DNS servers it isn't funny. Any attempt by the Obama Administration to have oversight over the internet will be George Orwell on steroids for sure!
On a personal note, I would love to be added to your blogroll in place of little green footballs. I do not know if it is money or insanity but he is closer to Huffpo than Hawkeye these days.
http://ianjuby.org/ is a revelation, that guy has done some awesome work! Thanks for cluing me in!
THAT RADAR is a shameless self-promoter! But the flood machines and the layers and especially the newt segment? Pricelss.
Believe or not, some Darwinists have speculated that the dinosaurs that lived in the area of the Grand Canyon must have walked backwards when they went uphill! Hahahahaha!
