Off To Wyoming!
Well, as the title suggests, I'm off to Wyoming! I'll be doing a bit of sight-seeing, scouting out a potential retirement location, and a getting a bit of R&R. God-willing, I will be back here in a week to resume the fight against insanity, Obama, the global-warming alarmists, et al. I'll try to take a few pics and post 'em when I get back. Prayers for a safe trip are always welcomed and appreciated.

If you happen to want to go to Yellowstone, my daughter works at the East Gate--say you're coming to visit and you won't have to pay the fee.

Godspeed, Hawkeye. I know it doesn't narrow things down very much, but don't do anything in Wyoming I wouldn't do!
BTW, the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone Park rocks! We were there in 2005 and I have probably three hours of video that I editted and transfered to DVD. Don't worry, I won't make you watch it though the buffalo and elk shots were pretty darn cool. Also got the entire sequence of Old Faithful blowing her top. And the Grand Tetons, you can't take a bad picture ... each frame looked like a postcard!

No. Not doing the "usual" Yellowstone - Tetons routine. I did that with my family as a kid, and it was great! But I'm really looking to find someplace to retire, and you can't retire in a National Park... (at least I don't think you can).
I'm checking out Cheyenne and Laramie. It's been thoroughly enjoyable so far. Will fill you in when I get back.
Thanks for all your prayers and good wishes! The locals are great -- warm and friendly. The cost of living seems reasonable... (lots better than New Jersey). The weather has been great too.

IMHO, it doesn't take much to be lots better than NJ...but other than being many miles from my family I'm quite happy to live in Whyoming.
