Silly billy! Yet again, I have four words for you – World Import Parity Pricing.
What this means is just because the oil is in America does not mean you are going to get it cheap. We all pay the same price. Unless you are going to go all protectionist on me?
Not that you'll be able to afford it when you pull it up anyway. What I don't understand is why you don't understand.
Cheers

Elroy,
I don't disagree with you. If America were to pull more oil out of the ground, we would increase the supply thus lowering world oil prices. YOU would be a beneficiary of American hard work. If America builds more nuclear plants and reduces its consumption of oil, YOU benefit. So what are you complaining about?
You would think that since America uses SOOO much energy, the rest of the world would be demanding that we supply our own instead of using theirs... but then, they like those American dollars don't they? ...even if they're worth less than the Euro.
Cheers
