Request For Prayers
NO STEENKIN' TOWN, LA -- Kajun, our friend and fellow Scrappler, was recently hospitalized with a stroke. A regular commenter here at the View, as well as at ScrappleFace, Kajun's wit and humor always brings a smile to my face. The articles he posts at his own blog - KajunNews - can be downright side-splitting. We request prayers for his full and speedy recovery, as well as for the peace and well-being of his wife Mrs. Kajun. We also pray for ourselves, that we will not long be deprived of the happiness that Kajun brings us. Amen.

I was elated to see his post today...
Nothing so invigorating as a good Rehillbillyation. No matter what part of this beautiful land you reside.
I didn't see the post from Kajun, will have to go check it out! I just wanted to say thanks for the prayers from you Hawkeye.
After I talked to you Tuesday night, I woke up Wednesday and felt MUCH better and was able to get my business done that day!

Hmmm, Hawkeye, that ticking clock on your site makes me a little nervous, almost as much as Scott Ott's baleful look over at Scrappleface. Both make me extra cautious about being on best behavior, for time keeps ticking away, and we know not when the judgement comes.

Thanks for the kind words, but Kajun should be our main focus at the moment. It's great that he can joke about "rehillbillyation", but it's clear that not all is 100% in "No Steenkin' Town", LA. Let's pray for those who are helping Kajun, especially that they don't "rehillbillyate" him into a copy of Bill Clinton. This is serious stuff ya know!
