Dean: Sour Grapes?
CONCORD, NH -- In a rare moment of obvious vengeance, Howard Dean announced today that he "would get back at those two darned states" that killed his bid for the Presidency in 2004. He was referring of course, to Iowa and New Hampshire. Although Dean was a strong front-runner going into the Iowa causcuses and the New Hampshire primary, he lost both to John Kerry.
"When 2008 rolls around", said Dean, "things will be different. We're gonna shuffle the order of the primaries and caucuses so that those two (inaudible) states don't have the same kind of (inaudible) influence that they've had in the past... (inaudible)".
Voters from Iowa and New Hampshire applauded the announcement following the embarassing performance turned in by John Kerry in 2004.
